The Green Corner Store
Have you stopped in The Green Corner Store yet? The store offers quality goods for your home and garden, personal care and pet care products, as well as a selection of hand crafted jewelry and art by local artisans. It's all fun, functional and eco-friendly. Some have been made from recycled materials, repurposed or reclaimed. They also have some non-perishable locally produced food products. The merchandise assortment is constantly expanding. The new baby care department has essentials for natural parenting including cloth diapers, baby carrier wraps, and lots more.
The personal care lines and cleaning products and are made with essential oils derived from natural plant sources, not synthetic chemicals. The Arkansas produced packaged foods are healthy and natural. The store has local raw honey, a tasty salsa made in small batches, loose herb tea blends, soup and baking mixes. They have a collection of colorful reusable water bottles made from food grade stainless steel so you can take them with you wherever you go.
The pet department has safe and durable toys, organic catnip, collars and leashes made from bamboo fiber, organic cotton dog beds and healthy treats. The pet grooming and pest control products are made without synthetic chemicals so, in addition to being effective, they are pleasant to use.
One of the most unique items in the store is the Sun Oven, just one of the ways the store encourages you to save energy. It's a great way to have a second oven in the backyard when you're entertaining. It's lightweight and portable, too, so you can easily take it with you camping.
The store features many local and regional products including organic cotton t-shirts with Arkansas map designs. You can support Southside Main Street Association by purchasing a 'So Cool SoMa' t-shirt. There are sizes for every member of the family. All proceeds benefit SoMa.
